Computer Science Education Week, December 9-15.
Hour of Code Week is coming up in December! We are so excited to expand learning experiences for our students by providing them opportunities to learn computer science which helps to nurture problem-solving, logic, and creativity. Current research states that 90% of parents want their children to learn about Computer Science skills in school, but only 35% of schools teach any form of Computer Science. Hour of Code is a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify “code” and to broaden the field of computer science. Over the past 4 years, Hour of Code has reached tens of millions of students in over 180 countries. Join the movement and introduce a group of students to their first hour of computer science. The Hour of Code is easy to run - even for beginners!
